Living artistically to me, is more about asking questions vs. finding answers. Whenever we step into creating anything, we are engaging with the magical part of ourselves that resides in us all, but often goes unnoticed due to our social conditioning. In the recent past to now, Western culture doesn’t value what cannot be seen, heard, or explained in language. But to be human is to have the ability to feel, beyond words or logic. This, is our magic. Using the imagination and engaging the unconscious mind are a vehicle for healing and fully living. Noticing carefully the felt sense within the body, and radical acceptance of what is, are both foundational to my artistic practice.
